Growing up in my basketball playing family the KISS principle was often reinforced by my father.  Keep It Simple Stupid!  The point behind the KISS principle is not to over complicate things and remember your fundamentals.  I had this principle in mind when I got dressed for a lunch outing with my sister on an unseasonably warm March afternoon.
